CO2-neutralised reinforcing steel from Bad Schönborn

Sustainable housing

20.07.2023

In Neulußheim in the Rhine-Neckar district, a modern residential quarter is currently being built, consisting of six terraced houses and two apartment buildings with eight residential units, on a total plot of 2,100 m². The sustainable construction method is not only evident in the energy concept but also in the sustainable commitment. The SÜLZLE Stahlpartner branch in Bad Schönborn is supplying around 200 tonnes of CO2-neutralised reinforcing steel to its partner, Tröndle Bau GmbH. The climate protection contribution made by Tröndle Bau per tonne of reinforcing steel promotes projects with a positive effect on the global CO2 balance. This is done by offsetting the CO2 emissions generated – from the provision of raw materials to delivery to the construction site.
