On October 7 and 8, 2017, the time had finally come: the test tower in Rottweil, 246 meters high and 21 meters in diameter, was officially opened and has since been used by thyssenkrupp for testing and certifying elevator innovations. SÜLZLE Stahlpartner supplied a total of around 2,900 tons of round steel, around 8 tons of mats and around 2,300 screw connections for this dizzying construction project. The spectacular outer shell, which gives the tower a filigree and international appearance, can also be seen from SÜLZLE’s main location in Rosenfeld.
