New hall takes shape
Production and logistics expansion in Dessau-Roßlau
SÜLZLE Stahlpartner’s new hall in Dessau-Roßlau continues to take shape. As early as June 2021, the steel structure from SÜLZLE STAHL Ehrenfriedersdorf could be erected in bright blue. Eight new main supports, each weighing 4.5 tonnes, were erected on the 60-metre long side of the hall. In August and September, roof work followed and the wall cladding was closed. An indoor crane over 60 metres with a track width of 38.2 metres was also installed. At the end of 2021, the new building was equipped with commercial compressed air, gas supply, power supply, hurdle construction and other equipment.
On an area of around 2,400 square metres, the entire production for bored piles and diaphragm walls was modernised and expanded by the end of 2021 through synergies within the SÜLZLE Group of Companies and together with partners and suppliers. As a result, the SÜLZLE steel partner location can provide its customers with even greater production capacities. Among other things, the product range in Dessau-Roßlau has been expanded in the area of bored piles to diameters of up to 175 cm and in the area of diaphragm walls even unit weights of up to 25 tonnes can be moved.
