ARGE: Trimberg tunnel
With the start of tunnelling work, the traditional tunnel-breaking ceremony for the Trimberg Tunnel near Wehretal-Oetmannshausen took place on May 16. By next summer, space is to be made for the tubes that will form part of the A 44. The Trimberg tunnel consists of two parallel tunnel tubes, which are connected at two points with cross tunnels as escape routes.
The tunnel length is 600 m, 440 m of which will be constructed using the mining method. SÜLZLE Stahlpartner is supplying around 3,200 tons of reinforcing steel for the open cut construction of this project on behalf of ARGE Tunnel Trimberg in the period from January 2017 to June 2019.
