Bored pile reinforcement cages for Oste wind farm
Seven wind turbines, a good 180 meters high, are being erected by the district of Cuxhaven in Oberndorf. One of these high-performance turbines can supply several thousand households with green electricity. The SÜLZLE Stahlpartner branch in Dessau-Roßlau supplied, on behalf of Meyer Sonderbau GmbH supplied the bored pile reinforcement cages. The construction project was divided into two construction phases: The first section took place already in 2018 with a total tonnage of around 230 tons and the second at the end of 2020 to mid-2021 with another around 360 tons of reinforcement for a total of seven wind turbines and crane parking areas. For the foundations of the bored piles, around 2,100 tons of reinforcing steel were also supplied by the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner site in Seelze in cooperation with Meyer Sonderbau GmbH.
Since the upper 5 m of the baskets were not allowed to be welded, the competent SÜLZLE team braided the irons by hand. In addition, a steel casing pipe was proposed as a special solution by FRANKI Grundbau, which was installed on the outside over the bored pile reinforcement cages with a pipe length of up to 16 m by SÜLZLE Stahlpartner. The casing pipes were necessary to prevent the reinforcement cages from shifting or bending in the soft clay soil after installation.
From the district of Cuxhaven in Oberndorf, 7 new wind turbines are being erected, rising more than 180 meters into the sky. Already one of these high-performance turbines is capable of supplying several thousand households with green electricity.
