9 floors: 20m high, 35m long and 10m wide
Around 40t of adapted steel beams were needed for the construction – in addition to 320m³ of wood.
Inclined north wall with overhang of 1.5m
Master carpenter Michael Tietz from Hechingen built for his client, the Meleo Projektentwicklung, a nine-storey office and commercial building in Tübingen – with a height of 20m, a width of 10m and a length of 35m. The special thing about it: it was raised floor by floor in timber-frame construction.
SÜLZLE Stahlpartner supplied around 40 tons of machined steel girders to ensure the necessary stability.
