Electroplating specialist expands company headquarters with CO2-neutral steel
Efficient all along the line
Following the modernization of the company building carried out in 2017, C. Jentner GmbH Metallveredelung is now once again expanding its production with a resource-saving industrial hall in Brötzinger Tal in Pforzheim.
In addition to the spacious modern production areas, the 4,600 m² building also provides space for social rooms and the company’s own restaurant. Sustainable working and environmental protection have been close to the heart of Managing Director Chris Jentner for many years. In addition to the separation of waste water by type, investments were also made in solar systems and a combined heat and power plant, which, together with the purchase of green electricity, now ensure sustainable production. Jentner is committed to constantly optimizing the consumption of energy and resources and to involving suppliers and service providers in these processes from the very beginning. For this reason, special attention was also paid to competent and reliable partners for this large construction project. In the shortest construction time, the team of Kälber-Bau Hoch- und Tiefbau GmbH with ten men installed around 160 tons of “green” reinforcing steel from SÜLZLE Stahlpartner in Pforzheim in the floor slab. Together, they managed a truly mammoth project in just six months: record-breaking construction time and holistic resource protection all in one.
