Hot-rolled steel sheets in non-alloy or alloy-treated grades with a thickness from 3.0 mm, manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 10029
A differentiation is made between two types during sheet production:
Strip sheets are sheets cut from hot-rolled wide strips with thicknesses generally up to 12 mm (with natural rolled edges).
Quarto plates are produced individually or in combined plate sizes in quarto plate mills. These plates are normally produced in sizes from 10 mm to 400 mm.
