Reinforcing Steel from Bad Schönborn

Modern Residential Development

A modern residential development is currently being built in Neulußheim, located in the Rhine-Neckar district. The project comprises six terraced houses and two apartment buildings with a total of eight residential units, situated on a site covering approximately 2,100 m². By 2023, the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner branch in Bad Schönborn had supplied around 200 tonnes of reinforcing steel to its partner, Tröndle Bau GmbH.

In addition to technical and economic requirements, sustainability considerations also played a role in the selection of construction materials. SÜLZLE Stahlpartner sources the majority of its reinforcing steel from electric arc furnace (EAF) steel production. This production route relies largely on recycled steel as a raw material and is associated with lower CO₂ emissions compared to the conventional blast furnace process. By working with carefully selected suppliers, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner provides transparency regarding the emissions data of the materials used and supports construction companies in making sustainability-oriented material choices.
