900 tonnes of reinforcing steel were used in the construction.
Hannover
On the south-eastern outskirts of Hanover, Kronsrode is creating a new urban quarter with a high quality of life on three project sites. Kronsrode is a truly mammoth project and is now considered Lower Saxony’s largest residential construction project nationwide.
Around 3,500 apartments for approximately 10,000 people are being built on an area of 53 hectares, including rental and owner-occupied apartments, townhouses and senior-friendly housing. The district will be complemented by social facilities, restaurants, a primary school, daycare centres and spacious green areas and playgrounds. The aim is to create a lively neighbourhood with a high quality of life and modern infrastructure.
SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Seelze supplied a total of 900 tonnes of reinforcing steel and 500 tonnes of mesh for construction sites A4 and A7 on behalf of HBS Bauunternehmung GmbH from Hanover. Deliveries took place between March and June 2025. Individual construction sites have already been completed, with overall completion of the major project planned for 2026.
