Data Center construction project in Frankfurt

SÜLZLE Stahlpartner from Dornstetten is supplying a total of around 2,700 tonnes of steel for the Data Center construction project in Frankfurt on behalf of Schmidt-Diehler by the end of May 2025. The impressive data centre extends over a width of around 90 m and a length of 215 m, spread over three floors with a gross floor area of around 40,000 square metres. The construction of the building is characterised by a complex concrete structure that combines in-situ concrete for the foundations and floor slab with semi-prefabricated elements such as TT slabs, filigree slabs, beams and cavity walls as well as fully prefabricated elements for columns. This variety of materials and components guarantees the high structural requirements and the necessary stability of the data centre.

Due to the strict safety regulations and the tight schedule, the project required precise coordination of all the trades involved. The punctual delivery of the steel by SÜLZLE Stahlpartner contributed to the smooth running of the project. The Frankfurt data centre project is one of a series of important data centre buildings in the region. Frankfurt is regarded as the largest Internet hub in the world, which means that the demand for high-performance data centres is constantly increasing.

SÜLZLE Stahlpartner has already gained experience with similar projects in the past.
