SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Denkendorf supports the “Kinder- und Jugendhospiz” Stuttgart

Donation on the occasion of the 140th company anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group

26.04.2021

On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group, the SÜLZLE steel partner location in Denkendorf is donating €1,400 to the “Kinder- und Jugendhospiz” Stuttgart, which opened in 2017 and provides support for seriously ill and dying people and their families, as well as for those who are grieving. There, every child receives the appropriate care – individually tailored, loving and competent. This includes a focus on the entire family. They are encouraged to decide for themselves which part of the care should be taken over and where they would like to be supported by the team. The hospice lives by the motto: The door is open, the heart even more so! They do everything they can to create a family atmosphere, encourage the host families to meet and exchange with each other, take the pressure off them and help to improve their quality of life in the time they have left together.

Families with children with a life-shortening illness can take advantage of care in a hospice for up to 28 days per year. However, the stay of parents and siblings is not paid for. With the donation, SÜLZLE can contribute to the care and hospitality of the parents and siblings (shadow children) of the sick guests.
