SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Schwendi supports the association “Deutsches Rotes Kreuz”

On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the SÜLZLE Group, the SÜLZLE steel partner location in Schwendi donates €1,400 to the local DRK association in Schwendi to finance urgently needed diagnostic medical products for the rapid response group. This includes the purchase of blood pressure monitors, pupil lights and pulse oximeters for measuring oxygen saturation in the blood. The DRK Bereitschaft Schwendi currently consists of 39 active members between the ages of 16 and 63 and covers areas such as first-aid service at events, blood donation campaigns, on-site helpers system and rapid response groups with its volunteer helpers. In order to be able to cope with all these tasks, the members meet weekly to practise together and schedule services.

Through the donation, SÜLZLE can contribute to being better equipped medically in the future. Branch manager Robert Bodenmüller presented a donation cheque to the chairman of the local DRK association Klaus Boeckh and the head of the on-call team Tobias Lerch on behalf of the entire Schwendi site.
