TRUMPF builds a new laser factory

07.07.2020

Frosty temperatures were not an obstacle to the start of construction in Ditzingen in February 2019. The TRUMPF Group headquarters will receive a new laser factory by 2022 for the production of lasers for electromobility and the manufacture of microchips. For the state-of-the-art new building, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner from Rosenfeld supplied more than 6,000 tons of reinforcing steel on behalf of Ed. Züblin AG since October 2019. In the new building with a total of 44,000 square meters, about 500 employees are to receive a new workplace by the end of 2022. Three buildings will host clean rooms, development laboratories and production facilities for modern laser systems. This is the largest construction project in the history of TRUMPF.
