Magdeburg City Tunnel

The underpass planned for cars and trams between the railway station and City-Carré is one of the largest inner-city traffic structures in Saxony-Anhalt. The City Tunnel is intended to eliminate the bottleneck at the busy Ernst-Reuter-Allee in Magdeburg. In the future, cars will roll underground and thus be separated from trams, bicycle traffic and pedestrians. Completion is scheduled for 2022.

In the period from May 2015 to June 2018, the SÜLZLE Stahlpartner site in Dessau-Rosslau supplied around 3.300 tons of drilled piles. That was around 1.500 baskets. In addition, around 8.400 Peikko joints were installed. For the Rosslau site it was the largest bored pile project to date to be supplied on behalf of Stump Spezialtiefbau GmbH, a subsidiary of PORR Deutschland GmbH.
