A modern urban neighbourhood at the historic Ostravorwerk in Dresden

Since spring 2024, a modern urban quarter comprising a total of twelve buildings has been under construction in the Friedrichstadt district of Dresden on the site of the former Ostravorwerk. The project, led by Quarterback Immobilien AG, comprises seven residential blocks, two office buildings, a nursery and the restoration of two existing buildings in accordance with heritage conservation guidelines. Full completion is scheduled for June 2027.

For the construction phases already completed, SÜLZLE Stahlpartner Dessau-Roßlau supplied around 3,870 tonnes of reinforcing steel and 144 tonnes of mesh on behalf of Dressler Bau GmbH between April 2024 and June 2026. The first two construction sites, comprising more than 258 residential units, have already been completed on schedule.
